It means so much to all of us when people like you get in touch to say they’d like to fundraise for MediCinema. Here are a few examples of people who’ve done just that!
This year two incredible people – the magnificent Miguel and our very own GSTT cinema manager, Nicks – took on the huge challenge of the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100. They both cycled 100 miles, pedalling up some huge hills along the way, and between them they raised an amazing £1,721.56. Well done, both of you – it may have been tyre-ing, but we think you’re wheely great!
One of our wonderful volunteers, Eddie, recently jumped out of a plane to raise money for MediCinema! He raised £700. Hats off to you, Eddie!
Another lovely volunteer, Emma, climbed Ben Nevis to raise money for us in memory of her mum. She raised an incredible £1,490. Thank you so much, Emma.
Great North Run
As if running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for us last year wasn’t enough, Andy, a volunteer in Newcastle, went the extra mile for us again and completed the Great North Run. He raised £110. Andy, you’re the Jogfather!
Last year the amazingly brave Annie took to the cold waters of the Serpentine to raise money for MediCinema in the Swim Serpentine, and this year she got two of her colleagues to take the plunge, too! Together, Team SwimFAN has raised £776 so far, and it’s not too late to support them! Click here to donate to their fundraising page and make a splash with your cash!
