Privacy Policy

GDPR IS HERE

The General Data Protection Regulation has replaced previous data privacy law, giving more rights to you as an individual and more obligations to organisations holding your personal data, like us.

One of your rights is the right to be informed, which means giving you even more information than we previously did about the way we use, share and store your personal information.

Our new Privacy Policy gives you access to this information, along with details about the increased rights you have in relation to the data we hold on you and the legal basis on which we are using it.

For more information about GDPR, please visit the ICO’s website.

USING OUR PRIVACY POLICY

Here at MediCinema we want you to feel secure in our use of your personal data. This Privacy Policy tells you what to expect when we, MediCinema, collect, store and use any data which can be used to identify you. We have broken our Privacy Policy down by the different groups of people whose data we collect, so you can easily find the part(s) which are relevant to you without having to read the entire document.

In general, you may provide us with your identity, contact and financial data by filling in online or offline forms, or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email or otherwise. You may provide us with personal data when you come to a screening, share your story, sign up to receive our e-newsletter, become a Red Carpet Club member, give a donation, apply for a paid or voluntary role, or contact us with an enquiry. As you interact with our website, we will automatically collect technical data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. We collect this personal data by using cookies and other similar technologies.
