MediCinema’s match-funded Christmas Appeal set to double the difference you make over the festive period
MediCinema’s Christmas Appeal for 2024 will once again see donations doubled by generous funding partners helping us to continue to bring the power of the shared cinema experience to NHS patients across the UK.
Centred around the moving story of Jake and his family, our appeal hopes to shed light on the tangible impact that MediCinema can have for patients and their families.
Diagnosed with Leukaemia at the age of three, little Jake and his family faced a challenging road ahead. But their visits to our MediCinema offered a lifeline to the family bringing them together with a sense of normality and relief from the challenges of being on a hospital ward.

He was a small, shy, nervous boy who screamed when anyone came into the hospital room. Seeing him laugh and giggle melted our hearts and was the tonic we needed at an incredibly difficult time.

Double the Difference You Make
Donations made during our Christmas Appeal will be matched by our generous funding partners which include AIB, Berry Plants Ltd, The Black Heart Foundation and The Chown Charitable Trust.
The match-funding pot currently stands at £23,000 with more being added as additional funders come on board.
